Description

Individual bass strings from a Yamaha C7 Grand Piano. The strings are numbered in ascending order from the lowest note and the largest string (1) all the way to the highest note and smallest string (31) String #1 has a diameter of approximately 5.15mm and the length of the copper section is approximately 60". There are a couple inches of steel core wire sticking out on each side. String #31 has a diameter of approximately 1.95mm and the length of the copper section is approximately 42". There are a couple of inches of steel core wire sticking out on each side. I will not measure the other 29 strings, but you can infer the approximate sizes based on the range listed above. The strings will ship in a padded envelope, but please exercise caution when opening the package and unwinding the coils. Gloves and safety glasses are recommended in case the strings uncoil rapidly when unwrapping. This can cause serious injury, especially to sensitive features like the eyes.
